The Malmö Builder's Association, which held its first meeting on January 30, 1889, is the country's oldest builder's association and will also be the oldest among Swedish employers' organizations. The meeting took place in hotels Denmark, Norra Vallgatan. New year 1889, Malmö had 46,283 residents, and it was the same year that the Malmö-Limhamn railway was opened.
