Rosengren's portrait studio.                                                                                                                                                                           One of Malmö's oldest photo studio was started in 1901 by Hjalmar and Emma Rosengren. First it was located at the top of the house towards Stortorget but moved soon around the corner, into the passage of the Lion, between Stortorget and Kalendegatan. In 1937 the son Kjell began to photograph. He took his last picture in the studio 85 years old, in the early 1990s. Kjell Rosengrens son, Claes, has worked side by side with his father since 1968. Along with his wife Ann-Sofie, Claes photographes most wedding couple and manages the studio his grandfather started in 1901. The city archives in Malmö have photographs from 1939 to 2003, according to records about 400,000.
